I have just heard a few complaints from older folks about it being low to the ground, which causes difficulty getting up and down. Assembly is not terribly difficult, but you should have a drill handy, and an extra set of hands is always helpful. The instructions are decent, but those who are unfamiliar with putting together furniture may have a difficult time.
