Assembly is not terribly difficult, but you should have a drill handy, and an extra set of hands is always helpful. The instructions are decent, but those who are unfamiliar with putting together furniture may have a difficult time.

Yes, you can. Adirondack chairs are made to endure the elements. You can leave your chair outside at any time during the day, even if it is raining. Outside spaces can be enjoyed year-round if you choose proper outdoor furniture and Adirondack chairs are one of them.
Wood is how it started. And when maintained well, wooden Adirondack chairs look graceful and pretty. But in reality, the maintenance of these chairs is not that easy. They chip, they fade and they rust. That’s where resin comes in. The resin is better than wood when it comes to being weather and stain resistant. But poly resin is even better. It is a mixture of resin and recycled wood and is environmentally friendly, more durable and long lasting.
I’ll have a screwdriver, please. ;} LOVE the set! So pretty! And I LOVE your pretty flowers! Such a great combo!
Gorilla Glue doesn't work. We have about 10 of these chairs with tables at our Lake house and they all eventually split, crack, etc. I tried every thing including Gorilla, Crazy, and any other glue, duct tape, etc. I now put a towel over chair to cover cracked part and "Forget about it". My husband saw the chairs for $12. at a local hardware store up at the lake house so when the towels wear out we will just spring for the new chair. Good luck and let me know if you have had any success with your repair efforts,

They also need much less care than wooden furniture, as you do not need to varnish or refinish them every year. On the downside, resin furniture cannot be left out on hot days for very long, as this can cause the material to melt. It can also become very hot, which is not a positive thing in a chair. In addition, resin is not a traditional material for Adirondack furniture, and it may be hard to produce the home-spun effect of Adirondack in a plastic chair. While purchasing ready-made resin furniture can be expensive, getting together the kit to construct your own resin chair could turn out to be very costly.
Heavy-duty construction withstands nature’s elements; will not splinter, crack, chip, peel, or rot, and is resistant to stains, insects, fungi, and salt spray. It comes in six (6) different colors so you can choose the one that befits your home settings.
If you sit in your chair for more than an hour each day it might be beneficial to purchase a cushion for more comfort. The chair can be easily tied to the four straps of the cushion, and it will be more comfortable and will not fall apart while sitting. Multiple cushion manufacturers offer different types of Adirondack Cushions in different sizes and colors.

Resin Furniture The truth is that plastic resin is a bit of a misnomer; real resin is a plant-based material, and, unlike plastic, is not made from hydrocarbons. Regardless, “plastic resin” is often made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and is typically woven into a wicker to look like natural wicker furniture.
