This review will focus on these two materials since they have proven to meet all the standards and factors set before them.
The verdict is that I would buy the polywood again. It is sturdy and durable. However, the design of the chair itself is not good. I ordered two of these and I had them put together in less than 45 minutes on my own! I am not handy at all so that should tell you something. They included a T handle hex key that is way better than those awful tools most companies put in their kits. Awesome chair and I couldn't be happier.

This unique style of this chair is what makes it different from most on this list. Made of recycled poly materials that are known to be durable and all-weather resistant.
To understand why these materials are so expensive, you need to know how their design features work. For example, wood Adirondacks are often carved and stained to create coats of rich color. Compared to the natural wood materials that may look much older over the years and will require periodic refinishing or replacement.
Foldable chairs: This type of chair has hinges that allow you to fold it flat for easy storage, which is great if you don’t have a lot of storage space. They’re often made of wood that can’t be left out in tough weather. Foldable chairs are also more portable if you want to take them camping or on vacation.
Assembly is simple: screw in the two bolts on the sides, and insert the pegs into the sides. Voila, Adirondack chair ready for sitting! To fold the chair up, remove the pegs and you’re done.

Now install the back slats. To get the right look, proper spacing of the slats is important. Start with the center slat, placing it dead center in the back. I used four screws for each back slat, inserting one in the bottom, then made sure the top was positioned properly, then I secured it with three more. Be careful drilling the screw holes and countersink for the upper crosspiece as these must be done on an angle, drilling straight into the crosspiece, but at an angle to the back slat.
