Thanks for the info, Corey. I didn’t use primer either and I feel like I used quite a bit of paint. I tried to use a sweeping motion while spraying and I was worried about using too much, but since you mentioned using a thick coat, I guess I didn’t use too much (even though I used more than one can). .

The climate you live in will greatly determine which wood is right for you. Those who live in wet climates will need a durable wood that resists bug infestation and rough weather. Dry climates need wood that resists sun damage, cracking, and fading. A globalized economy provides more options than ever before. A few of the most common woods include the following.
Traditionally, Adirondack chairs were made of wood. Today, there are more woods to choose from, as well as plastic and polywood.

Though recycled HDPE may not be represented by a number, you might be able to tell a piece of outdoor furniture is made with recycled HDPE by the way it looks: It often has a vague wood-grain texture, but is shinier than untreated wood. Many current styles of Adirondack chairs are made with recycled HDPE.
Trust is one of the most important factors that the brands come up with, and Adirondack chairs are the perfect example of it.

This chair is another gem from Adam’s mnfg company. Extremely affordable and lightweight ( 11 pounds), it got an ergonomic design for more comfort and relaxed posture. As the name suggests, the big easy Adirondack chair got a wide seat. In fact, the seat is wider than Adam’s real comfort Adirondack chair which also earned a spot in our list, with the seat dimensions being 21.53 in. W. X 18.14 in. H. We love that the chair comes pre-assembled and is foldable and stackable. The wood grain finish gives the Adirondack chair a classy finish.
