2) Portability and Size— From the other reviews I knew that these were not really portable even though they are called “folding”. I also knew that these weren’t the full size Adirondack chairs. However, I was surprised at how small they really are. My spouse is 6’5” so this is an issue. While he can sit in it, it is more uncomfortable for him. I should have gotten the full size even though it would have been more expensive.

Much nicer, right? But it was like putting lipstick on a pig. Paint made them look pretty, but they were still wobbly and rickety. I think we got our money’s worth out of those crappy old Adirondack chairs and now its time for something a bit sturdier and better.
Thanks for all of the good ideas- I'm going to try this stuff next: it supposed to set in a minute - cure in an hour. It says that it works with "Most plastics"- so we'll see.
