Unfortunately I see these on stores infrequently. As soon as Costco gets a shipment in people are snapping them up. These Adirondack chairs are REALLY popular right now. You’re best bet is to write down the Item Number: 1900693 & check with your local Costco to see if they will be receiving any. Good luck & let me know if you find any
The Adirondack chair itself was first conceived in 1903 by a man named Thomas Lee. He was working on outdoor chairs for his summer house in the Adirondacks, and built several prototypes for his family and friends, and called it the Westport plank chair.

You may find it helpful to loosen the bolts in the pivot spacer to make unfolding the assembly easier. Next, attach the seat to the front legs using (2) 1 7/8" bolts, (2) 1/4" washers, and (2) 1/4" nylock nuts. Tighten with a 7/16" wrench and the provided 4mm T-handle hex key. For quicker assembly you can use a drill and a 4mm hex bit instead of the provided hex key. Finally, insert the adirondack pins into the seat of the chair. You can use a soft mallet to tap the pins into place. If you loosened the bolts in the pivot spacer before step 1, go ahead and tighten those at this time. I was also delighted to see that the Muskoka chair was #1 by Style at Home.com when they did a round up of the Perfect Cottage chair, and I couldn’t disagree. (Below)
Update: we decided to order 3 more of these chairs for $229.00 amd we sat in it and now the plastic is hot or something and its bowing down amd the material feels really soft and flimsy. I will definitely be contacting the company or the seller for a partial refund. These are not worth $229.00 dont waste your hard earned money. 1.0 out of 5 stars 5/24/2020 update: cheap. By Saylor on January 26, 2020 I love this chair. It was easy to assemble and it's super comfortable. But when I ordered mine I paid $147.00 and then i went back to get the other three we need and they went up to $229.00. That's an $82.00 difference. That's crazy. What happened?!
