I purchased a shed from Mitch more than 14 years ago which was perfect at the time but over the years, I have accumulated so many tools and so much equipment that I needed another one. He and his partners showed up on time and quickly put together exactly what was promised per the design. Over the next few days, they returned to paint the shed to match the first one and all was done with care and quality. I am very pleased and give them a great review. Paul S 2 years ago

If you have a large enough shed, you could have it completely finished, wired for electricity, and plumbing run to it to create a tiny house. Because most of the costs are in the finishing, this would not be an inexpensive project unless you intend to do it yourself over time. Finishing costs will run around $125 a square foot, plus insulation, running the plumbing and electrical lines, and other interior finishing add even more costs, for a total of up to $250 a square foot. This assumes that you do not add square footage onto the shed because most sheds are only a single room and are not divided into kitchen, sleeping, and bathing areas. These houses are not legal to live in unless they are permitted and inspected, however.

Second, remember that your shed should rest on a gravel or concrete pad. While some people put their shed on concrete blocks, this is strongly discouraged as the blocks are difficult to level and can break or sink over time, causing doors and windows to bind. For your 10×20 shed foundation, you may be able to install a simple gravel pad and perimeter by yourself. A concrete pad is somewhat more difficult and will most likely require hiring a professional, although the final result should be a more solid and long-lasting foundation.

We are so happy we used this company to build a 16x24 Aspen in our backyard. The company was great to work with, Jeff was our building manager and he was incredibly nice answered all my questions and made this potentially stressful project easy. The building was incredibly well built, we had no issues passing our village inspection and they even complimented the quality of the build.
